:: Tracer (Synopsis)
With cell phones, GPS systems, satellite tracking, cameras above the streets, and social networking--could you get away with a modern kidnapping?

When the dorky husband of a Vice Presidential candidate is kidnapped, Spec Wilder has 48 hours to find him and bring him back without the media or the general public finding out.  But if the VP candidate accepts the nomination, her husband dies.  No money exchanged.  No transfer point.  The perfect modern kidnapping!

But Wilder has an advantage.  While working for the DOD, he invented a cell-phone-sized "Tracer" machine that is the only thing that can help quickly enough.  Until he gets close enough to succeed--and finds out that his new girlfriend has been kidnapped, as well.
