    Synopsis

    Washington D.C.

    An election year.

    Corruption and threats are everywhere.

    Business as usual.

Except that Thomas Bridger, a computer whiz, has created a safe way to vote in political elections online. No one seems to care— except the President, the FBI, and every powerful person with an election at stake.

But voting online won’t make more people vote.

Enter Leesha Dormont, a tour guide in Selma, Alabama. She also wrote a secret document years ago that caused a stir, but no one knows she’s the author.

The election is coming up fast. The President wants Bridger to cheat, or else. Meanwhile, large crowds of people have shown up in D.C. wanting fair elections, based on Leesha’s document.

The clock is ticking. Will democracy survive? Can Bridger and Leesha stop a rigged election? The world is about to find out.

    Plot Overview

    (Spoiler-Free)’

‘Radical’ follows individuals operating inside and around politically extreme movements as personal conviction collides with manipulation, ambition, and institutional response.

As ideological positions harden and alliances shift, the story reveals how radicalism is rarely born fully formed, but instead grows through incremental choices and escalating commitment.

The novel traces how belief becomes identity, how rhetoric becomes action, and how power structures (both official and informal) leverage extremism for their own ends.

      Author’s Personal Note.

‘Radical’ was written to examine radicalism not as an abstract threat, but as a human process.

The novel avoids caricature in favor of proximity, asking how belief becomes action and how easily conviction can be weaponized.

Rather than offering solutions, the story interrogates how certainty itself can become dangerous when insulated from doubt.

      Genre & Style

‘Radical’ combines the tension and pacing of a political thriller with a restrained, analytical narrative voice. The novel avoids sensationalism, focusing instead on process: how individuals move from uncertainty to certainty, and how systems respond once lines are crossed.

The prose is direct and controlled, mirroring the ideological rigidity explored within the story.

      How ‘Radical’ Fits into FaulknerFiction

👉 While each FaulknerFiction novel stands alone, ‘Radical’ is the most politically incendiary—centered on democracy, suppressed ideas, and the fear institutions have of true participation.

👉 Where other novels examine personal obsession or individual moral collapse, Radical’ confronts systemic power and manufactured consent, pitting technology and ideology against a political structure designed to survive by limiting both.
