One of the things that makes 'The Odyssey' unique is that director Christopher Nolan made it the first feature film ever shot entirely with IMAX film cameras, creating a level of scale and immersion rarely seen in cinema.
To accomplish this, IMAX and Nolan's team developed new quieter cameras and specialized technology so even intimate dialogue scenes could be filmed in the massive IMAX format. The result is a movie designed to make audiences feel as if they're traveling alongside Odysseus across stormy seas, mythical islands, and ancient battlefields, with breathtaking image quality that can only be fully appreciated on an IMAX screen.
For me personally, that mean only one thing.
I had to see it ina brick-and-mortar theater to get the full effect!

I enjoyed 'The Odyssey' because of the one-of-a-kind visuals used by the director, in all it's big-screen glory!
Equally as important, was:
